I had sugery 20 + years ago.I had double vision. They coudn't remove all of the cyst.It grew back, then i took steroids which shrunk it enough to relieve the vision problems.I have headaches and migrains constantly. Now i had swelling in the back of my head where i had the previous surgey with a migrain for 4 days. The neuro surgin doesn't know what caused the swelling.I am refered to a neurologist now.Why is there no posts of vision problems relating to a cholosteatoma? The dr. said this is a big deal and doesn't think he can do the surgery? He has removed other cholosteatoma's,but mine is deep in my head.We are not considering any options at this time untill more symtoms develope.I had a 50/50 chance of life threatening circumstances the first surgery. Is there any hope for me?
