Orange mucous after surgery
avatar
Emshmem12 posted:
Hello! I had surgery on my right upper arm last week to remove scar tissue from a previous scar. Today I noticed when I blow my nose or tip my head forward the snot that comes out (literally drips right out like a faucet) is bright orange. It looks pretty close to the color of betadine. My head isn't stuffy and I don't have a cold. Is there something related to my surgery that could be causing this bright colored mucous? I appreciate any insights. My post op follow up isn't for 3 more days. Thank you!
