Permanent Tubes Inserted, followed by bleeding and puss drainage. Help!
An_254794 posted:
Hello. I have had permanent tubes surgically implanted in my ears today. Several hours later, my ears began popping and I had a feeling of drainage. I removed the sogged cotton to find a mixture of greenish mucus-like puss and blood. I put in the drops that were prescribed. I have some pain, I would rate it a 6 out of 10. My doctor told my husband that they were ears and there was no need to have prescription pain meds. The OTC's are not helping. Does anyone have a suggestion, since my doctor has yet to return my call? Thanks.
