Hi Folks,

I'm a 66 year old female and just had a Colonoscopy. Two things really bothered me. My doctor said I had Diverticulosis which isn't great news but I can deal with more fiber in my diet. I asked him if I should consider cleansing myself out a few times per year. He said not to bother just go on a high fiber diet. That seemed like a odd answer to me. Secondly, he said I didn't need another Colonoscopy for 5 to 10 years. This really made me uncomfortable! I'm 66 years old and he say's to come back in 10 years?

Any advice or thoughts you can share with me!
