The latest drugs for chemotherapy
hglanvu posted:
Hi all,

I am in a mess and really need your help now.
My mom was found having colon cancer, in stage IIIB (tumors have grown through the colon wall and have spread to one lymph node). She had a surgery to remove the tumor and the surrounding damaged lymph node) 2 weeks ago and will have the chemotherapy treatment soon.

I really want to know what is the newest drugs used in chemotherapy treatment for colon cancer. I googled it and it seems that 5-FU is the popular one for colon cancer. But I don't know if it is the newest and the best for colon cancer at the moment???

Thanks in advance!
