AANNSS posted:
Friend got diagnosed with a colon cancer at the age of 49.He is heart patient also. After the surgery, during his recovery period , the stiched got detached due to which a colostomy bag was attached and doctors prescribed to remove(reverse) the same with 2 months. Since it was diagnosed at a very early stage , physician advised not to undergo chemotherapy but Sugeon prescribed thatt chemotherapy sould be taken.According to the physician even if the chemo is taken it would decrease the chances of developing the cancer again by only 4 % . Hence keep in mind the condition body of being a heart patient we avoided Chemotherapy.
Now the surgeon says that since chemotherapy was not taken withing 2 months , he will advise to keep the bag for 2 years on a note that if by any chance the cancer appears again it will be easy to perform the surgery. If the colostomy bag is removed and by chance the cancer appears it will be very difficult to reopen the colon again.

Please provide your reviews what should we do.
