Cramping 3 days after D&E?

After 3 successful pregnancies, we experienced a demise last week on Tuesday, at 15 weeks. Up to that point everything was perfect, at least by ultrasound and blood results. Completely unexpected, no signs of issues until there was no heartbeat at the normal OB follow-up. I had a D&E on Friday, and had minimal pain requiring little to no pain meds by the following day, but tonight I'm experiencing stronger period-like cramps. Has anyone else had this?
