Possibly pregnant

I had an odd period that started May 7 and ended May 9. It usually lasts 4 days instead of just 2. Then the other day I had a thick, light brown mucus clot thing when I went to the bathroom. I had an OB appt yesterday and showed him and he just brushed it off like it was nothing. During the pap, he said it looked like there was a cyst on my uterus and said it was quite common and it was just thickening of the uterus. The pregnancy test came up negative but I though that the uterus thickens to prepare for pregnancy. I have done a lot of research about the clot and have found that the brown mucus could be from implantation bleeding. I have never been pregnant before so I am freaking out about this because it's never happened before, then I am told there's a cyst when there's never been one before and no cramps.

The only way to know if you're pregnant or not is to take a test.
