False Negatives?

I have very irregular periods and have the blessing of two boys! We are trying for a third and have been having some difficulty getting pregnant. My last period was 10/23, I am now feeling very strong symptoms of pregnancy but several HPT have come back negative, even took a blood pregnancy test less than a week ago that came back negative. Is it possible to get a false reading on a blood test? Maybe it was too early to tell, should I ask for another blood test to be taken?

Blood tests are very accurate and they are rarely wrong. There are other things that can cause pregnancy symptoms other than pregnancy.
