    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

My menstrual cycle has always been irregular, since I started at 11, I'm 22 now. It has differed between 26-45 days and period usually lasts 5-8 days. But it's always been the same. Dark brown discharge for a day or two at the beginning and end and bright red for 3-6 days in the middle with gut wrenching cramps and clots through the whole thing, midol usually doesn't do anything for me. The only other time it has been completely different is when it was about twice as heavy and crampy, when I had my miscarriage. This period though, starting at 42 days and currently on day 6 of my period, has been dark brown the whole time, almost black at points, way lighter than normal and almost no red. Cramps are about half what they normally are. I'm not using contraceptives and I've been with the same partner for years. We've been trying to conceive for almost 6 months and I'm hoping this is finally it.
