Hello everyone... I could use some advice please. My husband and I are trying to have a baby. WELL, for the of me I can not remember when I had my period in September (BUT I know i had one) and I cant remember October and dont even think I had one! Well the first week in November I start spotting on the 4th, then on the 5th it is heavier but still only needed to use a regular tampon (sorry TMI, i know) and i normally use a SUPER on my second day because it is just that bad! The cramps I had on the 2nd day were NOTHING like the normal ones i have. Normally I have to have an icy hot patch on my stomach, and take excedrin for menstrual crmaps. But this past time, It was actually bearable. Anyways. I stopped on the 6th and was barely spotting and completely stopped on the 7th... On the 6th or 7th I remember seeing more brown then red and thought to myself "this period is weird" but didnt really think anything of it! My normal periods usually last the FULL 7 days and maybe spotting on the 8th day! Then starting last week, I felt a little nauseated but again just thought i might have been dehydrated. Well this week starting on the 16th I have been nauseated. All week. Monday i kind of felt like i was coming down with the flu, my body was sore but no runny nose and no fever. I am tired, but just figured it was because i get up at 530 in the morning. The nausea is so bad, that I have to make myself sit down so I wont vomit. I thought that I might be pregnant but not sure. I have also been having acid reflux the past week and a half too.. I have been having some cramps below, but thinking it could be gas. ha ha... It seems I have an excuse for every symptom. I know we are trying to conceive but I am wondering if it would be too soon to test. Anysuggestions??? Thanks!!!

If you think your period was on the 7th then either one of three things happened. You either had a really weird period and should test about 5 days before your period. Or you could have had implantation bleeding, still should test five days before. Or you could have not had your period in October like you thought and you could already be pregnant! I know in some pregnancies people have unexplained bleeding. Good luck!

You either had a really weird period and should test about 5 days before your period. Or you could have had implantation bleeding, still should test five days before. Or you could have not had your period in October like you thought and you could already be pregnant! I know in some pregnancies people have unexplained bleeding. Good luck!

Well, I know that my period was in September maybe late september... probably before the 25th of September or around that time. So I figured maybe my October period was late enough to roll into November. But when it was that short and weird, that is when I questioned myself. I normally dont ever say "that's weird" when I have my period. They are different sometimes, but not this significant. The ONLY thing that makes me believe I am not pregnant, was that during those few days at the beginning of this month, my boobs did hurt some and then it went away. NOW I am getting the cramps, sick feeling, exhaustion... slight headaches. I thought I serisoulsy was getting the flu because I whole body was sore!! If you think I might be pregnant, when should I test? Like I said, my husband and I have been trying for months and I think this is the first time I actually think I could be pregnant. But I dont want to test too early. If that was implantation bleeding that would make me 3 weeks pregnant right? and that would be too early for a test right?

MrsTzur, if you'd be 3wks pregnant it's not TOO early to test but it really IS best to wait til you're about 3wks & 3-4days, unless you go to the doc & get a blood test done, you can find out as early as 2wks pregnant.
If it was implantation, it takes 2-3 days for the hcg to rise so I would just give it a few more days & then test when you'd be 3wks & 3days.
If you get a negative, retest when you'd be 4wks & 2-3days & if it's still negative & no period (or you still think the bleeding was implantation & not a real period) then go to the doc & get blood work done. Good luck!

WOW... so now I think I am more confused then ever! ha ha... I took an EPT test this morning. This one shows a plus sign or minus sign ... well the minus sign came up strong and quick, so I just thought oh well. THEN I went back to look at it. And I see these 5 little dots as if they were trying to form to create the plus sign. They are faint but still there. Do you think it detected a tiny amount of hcg or just a technical issues with the test. UGH... if I wasnt already anxious enough! I have two tests so I think I will try and wait another week to test. What do you think?

mrs tzur how long did you wait to go back? the dots might be evaporation line or a faint positive u should try a digital test too. good luck

I waited about 5 minutes before I went back in there. I saw the dots after I washed my hands, but then I said I would wait 5 minutes and go back. They are still there. Evaporation line? I know this sounds dumb, but what is that?

Just wanted to update you guys... I have not taken another test yet. I am waiting till at least the first week in December to test again, because I want to be 100% sure. All I have now, is the really bad heartburn. I can feel as if my boobs are getting sensitive and I have cramps off an on as well. I pretty much get all pregnancy symptoms (crazy, I know) every month before I start... the only thing different this month is the heartburn! STILL thinking happy thoughts though!!

I am waiting till at least the first week in December to test again, because I want to be 100% sure. All I have now, is the really bad heartburn. I can feel as if my boobs are getting sensitive and I have cramps off an on as well. I pretty much get all pregnancy symptoms (crazy, I know) every month before I start... the only thing different this month is the heartburn! STILL thinking happy thoughts though!!

I think i am going to take a test in the morning, but just so tired of seeing negatives... cause again all of this just might be pms!!!!
