Do any of you guys use Facebook? And if so, are you fans of a Crohn's Disease page? I decided last night that I wanted to make one but I did a search and there are already several, so if you guys use one already, I'll just use it. Please let me know.

Hi hippieremodeler,

Welcome to WebMD Crohn's and Colitis Exchange. It would probably be better for you to start an new discussion (thread) with your question. Just click the Post Now button near the top of the main page and introduce yourself and ask your question. Don't forget to give it a subject title like "Resection Question".

I've never had a resection but I've heard of peeps who have gone into remission for anywhere from 4 months to 5 years. The recovery seems to be pretty fast too, normally. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help but others will be.

Good luck and I'm glad to meet you.
