    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

Has anyone with Ulcerative Colitis had any success with Entocort? Also, has anyone tried Glutamine as a supplement?

I've used Entocort off and on, but I never really seemed to have any huge results with it. I think my problem is that I had Crohn's Colitis, and it would treat one but not the other. I think I had that problem with a lot of meds (I've tried many), but we didn't know until after surgery that I kind of had both.

And no, I've not used Glutamine. Sorry I wasn't more helpful, but I wanted you to know that your post had been read.

I have Crohn's colitis and was put on Entocort along with Asacol and went into remission within 3 months of starting these meds, I feel very lucky. Wish you luck.
