    What Do You Need to Do?

    The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

    That Backache and some relief

    Buy a good heating pad that shuts off.
    Make a fleece cover for it, it's washeable.
    Make or buy some rice or millet and make some soft large bags. See directions below.
    Soak in a warm tub or hottub.
    Walk every day.
    Distract yourself with a good hobby.

    Take your medication. Use supplements, but be careful. Too much of a good thing is not good.

    How to make a rice heating bag:
    Cut two pieces of fabric or fleece about 14" square.
    Sew up the bottom and sides
    Sew one seam up the middle.
    Pour about 3/4 cups unccooked round rice or millet into each side.
    Sew up the ends.
    You can make a slip cover so you can wash it.
    Heat in micorwave 1 - 2 minutes. for scent: open or break a tea bag or scents into it when you make it. if you like.
    Millet doesn't burn as fast and doesn't crumble.
