I have suffered all my life with the abouve problem. Perimenopause
even made it worse. For the last 6 months i have been free of all symptoms.
1) I drink 7 16 oz warm drinks every day
2) I drink the juice of 1 fresh lemon every day with natural honey.
sometimes I split the juice morning and night.
3) 2 or 3 teaspoons of benefiber a day. (I'm so much better I cut back a bit)
4) This was the biggest change 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil every morning.
My breackfast 1-16oz coffie (stimulates intestion) 1-16oz drink tea or whatever then 3 tablespoon olive oil followed by 16oz of warm limon water with honey. I have a normal bowel movement every morning!!
That's it and it's changed my life. This condition was so stressful just before making these changes I started having blood in my very infequent hard dry bowel movemnets. After a colonocopy I found out I wasn't going to die from cancer but had hemroids. I'm a yoga teacher and this breackfast carries me through until lunch with no hunger.
