People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily...........Zig Ziglar

Sorry chez, thought I replied. Haven't drawn in a while, I am tired of the globe and no door in sight. It's all good, at least there is a change of season.
Hope things are going well in your globe

Hi nightflier
A bit like you, not really finding way out of the globe but I am seeing the outside world and know its there and going on, hoping to join in at some point.
Lots going on here at home with family, lots of changes which I hope will help my mood. I have been seeing a fantastic psychologist but it has taken pretty much the past year to get to the root of the problems, she has been very patient but I now wonder if it is beneficial or just comfortable - not sure that makes sense.
Anyway, I love the change in season, autumn and winter are good for me, I love the dark mornings and nights and walking my wonderful boy Scotty.
Hope you are managing to take some care of yourself

TRIGGER TRIGGER................................. Hey chez, sorry so long for reply. My cousin's 23 year old shot himself in his home. I know there is nothing i can say to him.....our brains should have a surge protector to help us stop before acting. A permanent solution to a temporary problem. Take care.... ((((Hugggs)))))) Wish i had friends that lived closer. Its all good, just need to find a new psych

Hey there nightflier80
I am so sorry to hear about your cousins son,no wonder you are struggling big time at the moment, but as you know we have to hold on to the mantra "permanent solution to temporary problem". God only knows how hard it is to hold onto this thought, I know I have many times unfortunately went far enough to do damage but not enough to end it all. I say unfortunately as I am never sure which side of the fence I want to be on. My kids are the most important thing in my life, however they may be better off without me - thankfully this is an unanswerable question so I have to fight hard and pull all resources to keep going. I hope you are feeling a bit better and not stuck in the dark rutt
take care and sending many (hugs)))))

Hey Chez, been away for a bit. I agree with your children are better off with you in their life. I too have done damage, but am still here. Good choice of words 'not knowing which side of the fence 'I' want to be on. My partner noticed recent destruction and asked did I do it......no came out of my mouth before I really thought about it. First time anyone has asked/noticed.
I hope things for you continue moving in the positive direction and I do understand comment about psych visit being beneficial or comfortable.......not sure myself.
Take care of yourself.
Many 'HUGGS' sending your way
