    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

Psychotic symptoms to go with your depression... anyone?
    kat7845 posted:
I am depressed and have been since seventh grade. and all this time (although i only recently understood) I've also had psychotic symptoms and although it completely freaks me out sometimes, I also depend on this and I don't even know if I want to ever be treated for that. I've read that some people suffering from depression also show psychotic symptoms therefore I am not worried that I could become schizophrenic anytime soon. Other than this I have phases of severe depression during which I have all the symptoms one can possibly have except suicide thoughts. I love to be alive although I don't enjoy living...
Is there anyone who can relate to that?

I might be able to relate to it - your words resonate with me. What do you mean by psychotic symptoms?

I can understand what you are going through. I too have passed this phase. And trust me you yourself have to come out of this. You need to be strong and active. Just keep yourself busy and everything will be fine.
