    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    treatment resistant depression

I have had panic and depression off and on for the past 33 years and am at my wits end/ Most anti-depressant drugs work for awhile and I need the highest dose available but that is even true with novacaine for dental work. It seems that since I was diagnosed with breast cancer 9 years ago I haven't been the same. I know how lucky I am to be a survivor and am extremely grateful for that but still feel like I am carrying a cloud around with me. My shrink doesn't seem to care and I have to give him suggestions he usually follows which doesn't seem to faze him. Is this the way it is supposed to be with psychiatrists? There aren't many others around here so I don't know what to do and I am tired of taking pills and don't need shock treatments. Help!
