    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in such a community. It would be a community on WebMD specifically for giving advice, support and information to people who have friends, family, loved ones, or spouses with depression.

If I get enough response I'll be happy to set it up.

    Take the Poll

Would you like me to set up a community for family and friends of people with depression, for support, advice and discussion?
    • Yes, and I'd join.
    • Yes, it might be useful.
    • No, it's not needed.
    • Unsure.

I would definitely use this group, I have been asking for help on this board but everyone seems to suffer from depression not be the spouse or family member of someone who suffers. My husband is a suffer and I am at my wits end with him and no help from anywhere. I am a Canadian but I live in Mexico and speak no Spanish so I need online support. So far I have only seen one other post, another lady whose husband is a suffer of depression.
Yes please do start a group, if only I could vent as not to feel alone right now even that would help.

Your wish is my command! Hopefully others will join us, because I see a real need for such a community.

    hi, all --

there is an additional community that you may want to take a look at, as well as R's family/friends group; it is the community for families of depressed and bipolar kids, http://exchanges.webmd.com/Families-of-Depressed-Bipolar-Kids-Exchange.
