I have not found any help for my depression. Could I be doing more harm to my family and friends by staying around?

No, you aren't doing them any harm Are you able to find some help, like you've tried finding help and nothing has worked or you haven't tried yet?

I have tried finding help in the past. I no longer feel confident I will find help. I don't have the energy to start again anyway. I don't want to worry my family. Which is easier now that I live alone.

The only thing I have found that helps my depression is Self Injury. But it is a vicious circle. I have managed to stay away from it. I am worried I may start again, may have to start again.

You need some relief and support. These organizations also are wonderful:

Hopefully there is a local support group you can attend and / or an online support system.

You are not alone, please take a look.
