Positive - feel like I am beginning to turn a corner

MyRain posted:
I honestly don't know what the cause is but I have decided that I would rather be healthy than have an Eating Disorder.
That is not to say that I won't still struggle down the road.
But I can say that up until this point I was not decided in my mind what I wanted more - health or what the ED provided for me.

Thank you N. Thanks for the reminder about holding on tight - I believe there may be times when I will be challenged. You'd better believe I will be reaching out when I need to!

hello, M --

this is such good news!

once you know something, you can't un-know it. why don't you print out this thread, or at least your original post in it, and put it somewhere you can see it a lot, just to remind yourself that you've made this decision?

this is a terrific development for you, and i am so glad of it.

Thanks SM. Yes, I don't doubt that I will need a reminder or two somewhere down the road. You're right about not being able to un-know it. I have made a line in the sand.
Hope you're getting some energy back. Ride in your convertible for me (I don't mind messed up hair!)

Your welcome. Thanks for asking, it made me smile. I am doing not so well but I am just trying to hang in there. I was thinking of posting here soon.
