Anxiety/Depression/Rage Trigger?

waddlesworth06 posted:
For the last few days I've been having a lot of anxiety attacks followed by feelings of rages or depression or both. I don't know what triggered them. They just come on. I get the depression w/o having to have an anxiety attack. I feel llike I'm going nuts. I know its just the attack talking but give me a break already. My husband has been good at keeping the kids away while Im having these feelings. Sometimes they last 5 min. (not for awhile have I had one of those.) other times they last for hours. I've been listening to music to help. One good thing I don't feel like hurting myself for a change. I guess I really just needed to vent to people eho understand.

Welcome waddlesworth, hate you are having a rough time. I do understand some of what you are going through and know that you are not alone.

I am happy to hear you do not feel like hurting yourself.

Have you been able to or considered seeing a therapist since the attacks started happening?

I let mine go too long and they became debilitating. I finally asked to see a psych. the therapy w/meds has helped with my anxiety attacks.

This is a great community (family) and very supportive. I hope you continue to let us know how you are doing.

People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily....... Zig Ziglar
