Hello all, nice thought, but thought it would be a good topic. I hope everyone is having a good day.I just wanted to thank everyone again for their support here. I enjoy the sharing (still slow at that), support and that no one judges me. It is also nice to have someone to talk to who truely understands.

I went to the doctor today and they increased one med and added seroquel. I am hoping that will at least slow down the roller coaster ride and/or stop the aliens from shaking the snowglobe i am in.

Just wanted to say thank you all

((((hugs)))))

"Stop the aliens from shaking the snowglobe I am in." Oh my gosh do I love that. What a vivid picture.
How do you feel about the visit and the med change? Was it hard to get yourself to the appt? How has the rest of your day been? Thanks for giving us the update. Take care and hugs to you!

Hi Myrain, i hope you are having a good day. I did wait until the last minute to get ready for the appt. It went well (he is a good dr. and was willing to temporarily administer my meds until my psych returns) I also feel better that he did not change, only increased part of my prozac and added the seroquel (the abilify wasnt doing anything for me). i.e. i don't have to start over with new meds.
I didn't make it to the pharmacy so back out i will have to go..... darn procrastinator.....need a hair cut badly as well. Perhaps i can cut my own..... NOT.
the rest of the day has been good, went home and have been here since.
I do picture the aliens peeking inside the snowglobe i'm in and just when I think everything is going to go well, they shake it to amuse themselves.

How is your day going?

be good to yourself
(((hugs)))

Wouldn't this just be fantastic if that easy!!!
My appt not good, I have nothing at all nice to say about her, the language that I would like to use would have to be censored, I think worse than speaking about sh!!! I did get some meds so I am holding onto that as a positive and looking forward to seeing my own doc next week,.
ok my rant over, glad your appt went well and that you are happy with med changes, not so good you didn't make the pharmacy, indeed procrastination at its best.
I hope you are making some use of the time at home, like sitting enjoying the pic D set for you.
Hope to catch up over the weekend,
Take lots of good, kind care of yourself
hugs x

MyRain replied to niteflier's response:
But you went! That's what counts. Don't beat yourself up about having to go out to the pharm. I needed to go to the store 2 days ago for something and I just felt so rotten physically that I just went home after work - could not even handle a relatively short shopping trip. Finally went today.
So glad you like this temp doc and the changes he made. Can the haircut count as one of your outings in the coming days? Glad the rest of your day has been good
What do the aliens look like? And why are they aliens and not something/someone else?
I still feel like...hmmmm....crawling in a hole and crying due to pain. So it hasn't been a great day but it's been better than the previous 2, so that's something.
Have a good night.

Plan - hole big enough for us all with D standing at the top sending down whatever we want and stood at the ready with the rope???
Lets face it the conversation could be very interesting!!

Just checking in, have company, Slyvan Ridge Mascto - pear, kiwi and honey or a simple Sweet Red. Then again, this Margarita is going down just fine. B-p

Chez, I know you don't really know me but do you mind if I ask why you had such a strong reaction to the doc you saw today? What happened?

It can be really hard to find a doc that has a good bedside manner sometimes.

PS I like the idea of the hole with D at the top tossing us down what we want! I'll take something with chocolate and peanut butter, please!

Chez1 replied to alaska_mommy's response:
have no problem sharing as ranting appears to make me feel better about how bad she was!!
She obviously had no bed side manner, she made me feel like i was playing the system and making symptoms up. She really made me feel like something that you would scrape of your shoe, as if i wasn't already in a vulnerable place!

Are you coming to join us in our save haven?
