Elizabeth_WebMD_Staff posted:
Good Monday Morning (or Afternoon) - Since we have quite a few new members (including myself), take a minute, check-in and share a bit about your day and how you are doing.

One of our other communities uses this format and it seems to work out nicely. We can do this daily or weekly, let us know what you think?

Please note: We understand some of you are struggling and we don't want to minimize or offend you with an lighter post of this nature, but we thought since many of you check in with one another and share about your day this may be helpful.

How's the weather? - Hot, muggy, humid in FL!!!!!!

How did you sleep? - Not well, woke up a bunch during the night!

Mood? - A bit stressed, very busy work week here at the Web! And, worried - dropped my 7 year old at a day camp and she didn't know anyone.

Plans? - Work, get my week organized, laundry.

How's the weather? Shaping up nicely! It's sunny, breezy, and not too hot!

How did you sleep? Not well at all...both my son and I have a head cold of some sort and so he woke up about every hour all night. I feel pretty crummy this morning.

Mood? I've been noticing how anxious I am about driving. I was riding this morning with hubby in the car and I am getting to be a back-seat driver (so to speak). Watch out for this, careful, etc, and closing my eyes and tensing up a lot. Usually I'm pretty comfortable with his driving so this isn't like me, and he hasn't changed his driving habits that I can tell.

Plans? Sleep, if I can, and pick up hubby from work later.

hi elizabeth,

the weather outside: sunny, warm 72 degrees with a light breeze. inside, cloudy and grey. why i am still inside i have no idea.

how did i sleep: couldnt sleep until 230, i was lucky to get at least 4 hours of solid sleep, then after tossing and turning, finally dragged my tail out of bed around 9am.

mood: down, lack of motivation to do anything. need to make daily routes to walk or something. being inside i know is not good, especially when the sun is shinning.

plans: see 'mood' above. have no plans as of 3pm. wipe the dust off my guitar and play. laundry sounds easier. perhaps i will work with 'D's poems for motivation (thank you D )

.........off to dust

Hi Elizabeth,
I think it is a good idea to check in weekly. I think there are always people sitting in the background who would like to let us know they are here.
The weather here is changeable daily, today was dull but warm. I spent all day in bed, hiding from the world, quite a comfortable way to do it! Mood, not the best infact really not good but ever hopeful. I plan to survive the week, to see therapist on wed and dr on frid. And then come back to check in next monday!
Take care and hugs
People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily....... Zig Ziglar

I am still here. Mood is not very good. Depression and anxiety still a problem. Unemployed and frustrated. I sleep ok because I am taking remeron. Really would like to get off it but it seems like I can't sleep without it. Hope everyone else is hanging in there.

Weather, typical for great plains - hot/humid/windy/thunder storms, one day, next moderate/humid/windy. Some beautiful clouds, mainly bright and blue.

Slightly under weather, after 2wks of barely able to stay awake to previous pattern of not much sleep - usual is between 3-4 hours of continuous sleep.

Mood - on the down side - seems to be trying to head for a low. Fighting it with CBT. Works better for me than drugs.

Plans, watch some Europe Football, England played blah. Sigh. Work, laundry is done, Play with dog (more therapy) than he knows.
