I just wanted to let you I know I replied to another of your posts in a different community a few days ago. I'm not sure if you have checked it, but it's on this topic. I'm sorry you're having a tough time.

jaws, what happens to you physically when you take that many meds? You know that too much pain medication can cause respiratory suppression...please remember your lovely wife sleeping peacefully, and don't give her a nightmare to awaken to. I know this is after the fact, but if you're awake and reading this, I want to be sure you are safe, and that you're not going to lose consciousness or have slowed respirations or something worse. My best advice would be to wake up your wife and tell her. That way she can keep an eye on your health.
You know we wouldn't be mad at you jaws, we are only concerned with your health and well-being. We want you coming back here for lots more talking and sharing! We need you here, and you would leave a great big hole in this board if you were not here to contribute. Plus imagine how we would all feel if you suddenly stopped posting! We would imagine all sorts of bad things! Please stay with us jaws, talk to us. HUGS

PS, Jimmy, I just wanted to say you'll be on my mind tonight, I really hope you can update us all very soon to let us know you are all right and safe. I don't blame you one bit for wanting to escape for a little while, but as a nurse I'm sure you know the dangers of messing with pain pills. I just worry for you. You're in my heart tonight, I'll be thinking of you. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi J, not sure you have upset anyone, remember from before, everyone here is sensitive at times and may misinterpret something written. I have read back your posts over the past while and cant see anything that you could possibly have said to offend anyone.
Now, how are you? I have been watching from behind the screen until last night and only now catching up with everyone, want you to know that you have been in my thoughts and I am sending you lots of hugs

I didnt mean to be insensitive but I possibly was. We rely on everyone here to a point, maybe the person I offended will post back

alaska_mommy replied to jaws86's response:
I saw where you apologized to one of the people here for offending, but after reading what you wrote prior to that and that person's response, I don't see anywhere where they took offense to it. I see where that poster was frustrated with her own situation, but I don't see any offense to what you said.

How are you feeling this morning, jaws? I hope you are doing ok. Thanks for checking in so we know you're here.

Sorry I didn't respond back last night. I only come on here once maybe twice a day. I will respond if you post to me, it just may take me a a few hours or maybe a day. Anyhow, I'm glad you remember which post it was. I'm not sure if you have checked it. I wasn't even sure if I should post to you here or not...I've never posted in here before, but I linger a bit. My depression issues aren't severe and are emotional not chemical or requiring of medications....so I wasn't sure if I would really fit in here. I have watched your posts though and have felt oddly connected to you since the first post of yours I saw. Strange I suppose. And then I saw that post of yours in that other community, and well.....Anyhow, I hope you're doing well today.

hello, A204 --

i'm glad you've posted here. you are welcome no matter how good or crummy you feel, no matter what the nature or source of your problems. i think that having several perspectives always helps more than having just a few.

i know that we have many readers who do not post, and that is perfectly all right too. people come to this community and get from it what they can, give to it what they can. i figure that when someone has something to say, and feels up to saying it, they will.

i hope we'll hear from you again.
