Just downloaded this item, to make it easier to talk/see son in college. No experience with it at all - so we'll see how it works.

Hi Demons,
how is the skype going?
People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily...........Zig Ziglar

Haven't used that much, I should have a higher CPU speed. It would be better, but really nice to see the body language of the person you're talking with. Eliminates minor misunderstandings.

Made good use of Skype last night, was a good experience. Video lighting isn't the best but hey what do you want for free. Very easy to pick up mood, body language and other important information when talking to someone. Can see a useful future for this type of product. Thought so in the past, just hadn't used. I can certainly see being used in the phsyco babble field as an extention to office visits. Good tool when talking to some one you care about. Sure wouldn't want to talk to the IRS or a telemarketer on face to face. lol. Wouldn't take into restroom either, lol. That could make a viral video.
