Success with Sam-E?
hunnywoman posted:
After several years of being on Citalopram, I noticed that my symptoms of depression were worsening. After a HORRIBLE experience with my ob/gyn, I at least ended up with a new prescription to try. Wellbutrin XL was working really well for me when nine days in I developed a severe rash. My doctor pulled me off of it immediately and prescribed something else that is known to make my particular issues worse (no energy, poor sleep, no sex drive and weight gain of about 15 pounds). Instead of going on this new medicine, I've been researching more natural products, especially Sam-E. I am needing some advice on whether Sam-E has worked for other people, what dosage, if any other medicines should be taken along with Sam-E, etc.? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I REFUSE to go back on these drugs and I'm looking for any alternatives. Thanks!
