Because of a motorcycle accident which left me in a coma I had for the most of a month, ive been taking Dilantin for 39 years. Even with a Temporal Articular Biopsy that was positive that places me in daily pain and discomfort in my head. Blue Shield will not provide me with a Rx that was prescribed by my neurologist that works. For more than 4 months I've been in touch with 11 Blue Shield employees that are RN's, pharmacy, reps and community service and absolutely nothing is being done. Not only that this has caused my seizures to increase, either I'm not that important, the employees are too busy or they just don't want to spend the money to make my life reasonably more pain free and less depression.
