A Farewell and Introduction

To all of you wonderful members here,

When I took over the moderation of this board a few months ago, I already knew this was a robust community that I was walking into. You all have amazed and humbled me and I've learned so much from you! (Hey, I've even been losing weight due to all your ongoing diligence towards eating healthy and getting your exercising in.)

And I have enjoyed working with Dr. Dansinger, Laurie Anderson, and seeing another great expert in Dr. Ramani join the ranks here.

I am remaining at WebMD but am going to be focusing on other areas of WebMD. I leave you in good hands with our excellent Haylen_WebMD_Staff. I think you'll love having her here.

I'll still be around here and there and may still see some of you. I'll probably peek in here now and then too to see how you're doing with your various health issues, and will be here for any questions Haylen may have.

I've already told her how lucky she is to get this community.

Thank you ALL for everything. Wishing you all well.

Caprice, you will be greatly missed, too, especially by me!! I know you have some medical issues that make it really hard for you. I'm glad to hear you've lost some weight, and are focusing on other areas of WebMD. It sounded like you'd been working much too hard, and your friends wanted you to ease back. I really hope you peek in and say hello, and let us know how you're doing. Life continues on and brings us many places. I wish you a life of no pain and lots of happiness.

Thanks MrsCora and Phototaker,

I'm going to miss everyone here.

I'll still be working hard, Phototaker, but that's part of what keeps life interesting.

Hi there!
I know I've got big shoes to fill! Caprice has given me lots of scoop on this community - mostly about the knowledgeable and supportive members. I hope I can make her proud!
I live and work in Southern California - I'm way too old to have my 2.5 and 6 year old daughters but am fighting to stay healhty to keep up!
My family tree is filled with diabetes and heart disease. Husband and I are breaking the unhealthy food and exercise-free way we were raised.
I'm looking forward to jumping in on Monday - have a great weekend everyone!
