    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

OT: Signs of Summer - what are you looking forward to?

It was over 90 here in Southern California yesterday and it really hit me "Summer is Coming!" What are some signs of summer you've experienced?

PEACHES! My husband brought home a dozen of the most fragrant peaches last night and I've already had 3.

SUNSCREEN! I had to slather the girls this morning with much squealing and protest. Trying hard to keep the sun of the 7 year olds chin where she had stitches to prevent scarring.

BUDGET We are trying to crunch the numbers and see if we can take a mini-vaca. I'd love to stay at the Disneyland Resort for a few days...need to buy a lottery ticket!

What are you looking forward to this summer? No homework drama is the best part of summer for me

In Waukesha we had 80 the other day and today sunshine and 65. That is my kind of weather in the 60's.

Summer time here is "Farmers Markets" They opened the 1st Sat of May - not much there now but in July I get all my veggies there - I buy tons of squash then for very cheap.

My mini vacation will be when I go to Mayo, I will be meeting a friend of mine there who lives in Ohio - she has to go there the same day how cool is that? She'll be on the 15th floor I'll be on the 17th floor. I just hope the timing will work out for lunch or it will have to be dinner.

    Good luck with that ticket.

The best part of summer for me will be talking short walks on the Fox River.
I shall wait upon the Lord and renew my strength.

    Hello, everyone.

Currently 58 degrees heading for the low 60's and brilliantly sunny in WNY. Going to be like this for the rest of the week and into next but warmer temperatures.

Looking forward to having all the doors and windows open like we do today.

Looking forward to physical therapy sessions in a pool that start next Tuesday. I have more hope for reducing my chronic pain and increasing functionality than I have had in years.

Looking forward to our gardens blooming, but that started in April. Lots of weeds but we now have a person that takes care of those for us.

Looking forward to lots of time spent on our patio by our pond.

Looking forward to cooking on the grill. Breakfast on the grill is awesome.

Looking forward to evenings enjoying wood files in our outdoor fireplace.

Hopefully we will have good weather this year - not too hot and not too cold and wet.

Have a blessed and thankful Thursday and super Summer, friends.

Yellow squash is my favorite veg...and the kids love it too so it is a win/win.

What a coincidence about your friend! Will be great to know that a familiar face is nearby.

I'm getting ready to go on a walk myself - don't forget the sunscreen

Nothing. I do not like the heat at all and don't have ac at home. I just learned that the ac in work is broken and will not be fixed until Sept. It's already hot in this building and it's only in the 70's outside today.

Dusty - No air for June, July & August? That is crazy - who picked the September date to fix air conditioning?

This time next Saturday, we'll be in Paris for 9 days. It's a trip of a lifetime, and will be absolutely fabulous.

I am looking forward to sitting on the boat dock, watching the water, the boats, the kiddies enjoying the lake, and just generally spending time outside.
