The whole family is into America's Got Talent . My husband is watching "Hatfields and McCoys "

Other than that, we're getting ready to cheer for the LA Kings in the Stanley Cup Finals - 1st game tonight!

What about you? Do you have any new shows you are watching or favorites that you always watch?

America's Got Talent is one of my favorites, with the Holiday that was on Monday I was a day off for everything so I missed it on Monday - I thought it was Sunday.

Did you see that couple doing a balancing act last night? Amazing - but they need new outfits!

I loved the stand up comedy guy - so humble and happy to be a dad. The ventriloquist was good too (had to look up the spelling for that one!) I thought the little kid who sang was cute but not Vegas worthy. And, I'm glad the kids went to sleep before those "male dancers" hit the stage - uggggggg.

p.s. What do you think of Howard Stern?

I can't wait for the new season of True Blood. I'm enjoying Game of Thrones too. My new guilty pleasure is Storage Wars. The buyers all seem like jerks but i like looking at all the old junk they find. The values they give to things crack me up too. One guy found an old shoe rack in a storage locker and said something like, "I can get at least 30 bucks for this in my store". I though that thrift store prices were high here.

Hello, everyone.

We are watching "America's Got Talent" this season as well as all previous seasons. Got the DVR set to record each new episode.

I am amazed at how tame Howard Stern is being. I fully expected him to act like he does on the radio, but he is being rather civilized. He also seems to have a lot of good insights.
On the whole, the acts seem a bit better than in previous seasons. Haven't watched last night's yet though. IMHO, there is no better ventriloquist (ha - I spelled it right without looking it up!) than Terry Fator. I believe he won season 2. He now has a Vegas act and a recording of his show is on Netflix. Amazing.

On TNT, we will be watching "Rizzoli & Isles" when it returns next Tuesday. Then "The Closer" returns in July for its final 6 episodes. Thank you, thank you so much. (that's the lead character Brenda's catch phrase).

We usually skip shows like "Big Brother".

Hope you are all having a blessed and wonderful Wednesday.

I am not much of a tv person and while I do have a TV and too many channels now, I have spent much of my adult life without a TV.

I have enjoyed America's Got Talent in past years but cannot support the show with Howard Stern on it. He has shown more disrespect to women and many other groups than any other "personality" I can think of.

I have enrolled in school again and will be a part time student along with a full time job as of June 12.

It does look like there will be some good movies out this summer so I will catch them in the fall when they are available in DVD.

DianeR - what will you be studying in school? I can't believe this but school (for me, not 1st grade homework for my kid) sounds great. I think I would love to take some writing or literature courses.

I joined a book club for the summer - looking forward to that!

p.s. Deb, I agree 100% - everything has to be about him! Narcissism on display
