Hello.

Diabetes is generally diagnosed when two consecutive fasting glucose readings are over 125. You would be wise to discuss this with your doctor.

I read your other post.

You can not be diagnosed or treated over an internet message board. You need to discuss the problems you had with the medication with your doctor. If your current doctor can not or will not help, then you need to find one that will.

You need to be proactive with your health care.

With your reported A1C and FBG results, it is likely you are diabetic. But, any diagnosis would need to be made by a physician.

I question whether you were "near death" while taking the Glimepiride. That sounds a bit exaggerated.
