I know that the cortisone injection I just received for tendonitits will raise my blood sugars. Does anyone know how long these high numbers will last?

For me, the injection raise of my blood sugars lasted only a couple days. However, knowing that this would happen, I cut my sugars way back immediately to avoid as much high sugar damage as I could.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!

Thanks for the reply. My highs lasted for two days. I am on an insulin pump and was able to increase my basal rate to compensate and my sugars came right back down.
