    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

OT: What time did your Monday start?
    Haylen_WebMD_Staff posted:
Too early for me today! See photo below of the horrible numbers I saw on the clock when my eyes popped open for good this morning.

What time does your day usually start? Is it consistent or do you sleep in some days, up early other?

    Hello, Haylen.

Our Mondays and any days vary depending on appointments, etc. Both my wife and I are no longer working so we have no fixed schedules. We usually go to bed by midnight and then up naturally around 7:30 or 8:00 am unless we have an early appointment. Some days we sleep in, others we get up earlier even if nothing is planned for that day.

Such is the life of a full-time dear disabled husband and wife.

8 hours of sleep - in a row! Heaven

I like your new avatar photo but I still have to pinch myself when I look at the calendar. Christmas is 3 weeks from today and the next day my oldest turns 8. Time is going too fast....

It would be nice if the sleep was '8 hours in a row'. Eldest son works 4-5 days per week 3-11pm. He goes out most nights after his shift with friends and comes in between 2-4 am. All 3 dogs bark like crazy. Eldest son works 4-5 overnights per week - 11pm-6am. Comes home around 6:15 am and all 3 dogs bark like crazy. Eldest son is awake all night in his chair doing computer when not working. Wonderful wife sleeps in living room in recliner for now. Both of them just started their 3rd course of antibiotics for pneumonia. If it isn't the dogs barking that I hear, I hear one or both of them coughing. So, it is not as nice a sleep as it could be. We do nap during the day if we have had a particularly bad night, which is pretty often lately.

Hopefully the antibiotics will finally kick this thing for both of them (it's been over a month) and we will soon have quieter nights.
