I have been taking this drug for over 10 years...I was so mad when the FDA stuck their nose into taking it off the market...I actually believe in this drug highly...I cant go through my local pharmacy for it but I did get aapproved on going directly to the manufacturer...People need to realize that Diabetis can cause heart problems/strokes...Ive had 2strokes before I ever started taking this great drug...I will fight for this medication cause I know personally it works...

Avandia was taken off the market because its continued use was suspected of causing heart attacks for diabetics. You are right, mr. yankee, people with diabetes are at higher risk for heart attack to begin with. But, the only difference between a heart attack and a stroke is where the "clog"'s, the heart; the other's, the brain. Considering your past history, is it possible that taking Avandia may do you more harm than good?
