Wk.4 Blood Sugar Boot Camp

Well, it sort of turned into a holiday resort, rather than a strict boot camp ;( with too many changes to be made in too short a time. All in all my A1c is down from 6.6 to 6.0. Considering that is a 3 mo. average, heavily weighted to the last two weeks, my food choices and low carbs have been correct. I still have a long waw to go to equal Beta's numbers and exercise program, but this is not a contest wtih him, but with myself .

I'm off to the gym to try out my new swim fins, rainbow goggles, and flowered swim cap in the lap lanes. (tacky but fun!) They shouldn't be too crowded with 10" of new snow on the ground. I'm getting in shape for swimming in the Gulf of Mexico and kayaking on Sanibel Island.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!
