Does anyone know what could cause liver numbers on a blood test to elevate? My mother is 82 yrs old and has emphysema and her dr told her that her liver numbers elevated on a blood test. She is a VERY NERVOUS NELLY. Would stress she is causing me make my numbers to jump? I mean I love her but every 5 minutes she called last night thinking she has cancer or something else and it is driving me nuts! I haven't checked my number yet, but could stress cause spikes? I am taking her to the dr today but she still is making my stress level to go way up. Thanks for listening had to vent a little.

Yes, stress can cause your blood sugar to rise.

Hope everything is OK with your mother.
