    I am around 85-140 in the am and take my levo when I get up. They say to wait an hour to eat. By the time I can eat, my sugars are up to 140-200! How can I get passed these numbers?

    Barb I take mine at 5:30am and go back to sleep for an hour then I take my blood sugar readings. I have tested my sugars before taking my Levothyroxine and I always take it the hour after but my sugar numbers only go up 4 points.

    What other meds are you on that can cause you to have such high AM numbers. Some night time meds can cause high sugars. It can also be dawn phenomenon. Deb
