what causes high triglycerides? Historically I have been below 150 and my last test was over 2x that. The test was done after fasting 9 hours

Hello..I'm the one that was on lifesupport and my triglycerides are almost 800.The doctors in ICU told me my high sugars is what is raising those and making my heart worse. I am anemic cause I throw up most of my food and they still had to give me shots in the hospitol to thin my blood because high triglycerides cause strokes and heartattacks and blockages. They told me I could take all the meds in the world but into the sugars come down the triglycerides will stay up. I had a radiologist, diabectic doctor, internal medicine doctor, a neorologist and a lung specialist when I was in critical ICU. But yours are not nearly as high as mine and should not be as hard to get yours down. Talk to your diabetic doctor and get your a1c taken.
Hope you live a long healthy life. God bless Youl

The one on life support. MY good cholesterol is to low and my total cholesterol is almost 300. They have tried me on three different statins to try to lower it. But since my nerves are dead and now my muscles are dying within two weeks I was back in the heart doctors office for falling. Those drugs to get triglycerides down were increasing the muscle damage he said two times faster than they had been dying and since i have neropahy of the bladder, stomach(Gastroparesis), legs, hands, feet, arms and kidneys. My heart doctor said my heart is a muscle well everyones is I meant and we don't want it to weaken any more than it is. And reading the wonderful blog I remembered I am on high alert for pancreatits and they said if I have stomach pain so severe I can't walk to call an ambulance. So please pray for me. My dad died of heart failure this last august.
