He can,t get through the night sleeping for fear that he will bottom out in his sleep, which has been the case. He does eat something before going to bed, and at 3 in the morning he is at 53, and he has to eat again at that hour, and it goes up to 78 . I feel this is dangerous to be getting these low readings in the middle of the night....what can be done for this?

Hello.

This is potentially dangerous. The only thing that we can do in an internet message board is strongly recommend that this is discussed with your husband's doctor asap.
