It was interesting that this subject came up today. My Dr. at my appointment was discussing my diabetes and my strong response to a non medicated approach. He said that I was doing well, unlike his brother who is a brilliant wonderful man, that has been a poor type 1 diabetic, not taking control. He said that the family is now trying to be tested as kidney donors because he has kidney failure due to the diabetes.
