This recent article illuminates the that heart disease was prevalent in mummies from cultures all over the world. We have been blaming present rises in heart disease and diabetes on our modern diet and lifestyle. The articles suggests that we don't know as much as we thought we did. They also point to hardening of the arteries as part of the aging process. Interesting thought insighter.
