    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Very cool, Lucy. It can be difficult for anyone who thinks medical i.d.'s are dorky. I know myself that I would never have worn one until now. I always thought they were dorky whether it be a necklace, bracelet, etc. I like the site you mentioned.

Here is where I got mine from: . They have such an assortment I never investigated before from beaded, chain, bangles, charms, sports, woven, leather, etc.

My bracelet is from Medic Alert. My transplant center requires I wear this specific brand since the EMTs can call the number and give my account number and get up to date medical info.

Are the two sites you all mentioned interactive. In other words can EMTs call or use the computer to get up to date info?

I love some of the designs but I am not sure my transplant doctors would allow me to wear one that is not interactive.

Great! I'm not 16, but wanted a nice braclet too. I found a lovely crystal bead one at walmart on line at a fraction of the cost at other sites specializing in these bracelets. Walmart's engraving service was a 3 day turnaround via first class mail.
