Best Prick-spot (for a guitar player)!

I play guitar and thus found the test-prick for blood very annoying on my finger tips. Here's the best location I found. In the pic its actually a mm or so higher onto my thumb than I like - and works in either direction left/right of that location. I don't feel it afterwords like I do on a finger tip - so it doesn't bother playing guitar.

Here's a closeup of the needle tracks from recent tests. With this location I can fit 50 per day on the same thumb (I've not dont that many in over 3 years).

I always prick on the sides of my fingers and not on the flat pads. It's much less painful.

Like Michelle, I test on the sides of fingers on my left hand. I have never tested 50 times in one day. I would consider that to be obsessive and of limited value. In fact, I now only test once per day (if that).

I rely upon my A1C results and the lab fasting glucose level for glucose management.

I cant see how any tip is not help. Even if you might know of the tip. Reminders keep me well. Thank you!

I have a special tip on my lancet that allows me to prick the fatty area on the palm of my hand and thus I never prick my fingers.

You really don't want to prick the "tip" of your finger. Go down a bit, and to the side (as Reitze's photos indicate). You'll find the sticks to be less painful when you stay away from the soft pad and the tip. (Based on more than 50 years experience doing fingersticks on myself and many, many patients.)
