The research on vit D is not rock solid,there is some basis for challenging the "new" standards.It MAY just be that levels of 10-15 are OK.

I doubt it. There is such a strong correlation between low D3 and heart disease, cancer, auto-immune and some neurological diseases that make me believe that most people are on the lower end of D3 level, that's why the effect is so strong! The same applies to K2. At the same time it is not quite clear whether the effect is coincidental or direct causual.

Also its not clear if the only real benefit comes form sunlight.The evidence that food or supplements can improve health are not clear.
