I am struggling with what to do. I have read on this site about Phenocal and on others about Revitaslim. I am on the verge of spending a small fortune by joining a fitness/nutrition center that tests for metabolism to tailor a plan specifically for me.

HELP!!!

I don't know what to do!!!

Revitaslim acai cleanse enables your body to shed a significant amount of extra fat without starving or putting up too much effort. The main ingredients in RevitaSlim are Acai Berry, and Green Tea. The formula contains three ingredients, two of which are proven to boost weight loss but there is very little information about list of ingredients on the formula. And you will find few complaints against Revita slim on this site - http://www.scambook.com/company/view/11456/Revita-Slim.

Now let's talk about Phenocal. Phenocal can boost your weight loss and revs up your energy levels by Suppressing and controling appetite and unhealthy food cravings. All ingredients are listed on the official website http://goo.gl/rOmY5
Below are the main ingredients -
1. Green Tea Leaf: Contains lots of antioxidants benefit for health and suggested to boost energy levels.
2. Glucomannan: Water soluble fibre that swells in size when exposed to water to 50 times its size, acting to fill the stomach to help you feel fuller. Suggested to have "strong evidence" promoting weight loss but doubt exists in terms of the amount required on a daily basis to be effective. Very unlikely that Phenocal contains enough of this ingredient to work.
3. L-Tyrosine: Suggested to help in suppressing appetite and works to promote healthy thyroid function and improved, more efficient metabolism.
4. Cocoa Extract: Mostly seen in cocoa products and chocolate and thought to have numerous health benefits due to its antioxidant content.

There are a number of positive Phenocal testimonials from consumers. Phenocal does have a 60-day money-back guarantee.

So, comparing both products, I will recommend phenocal over Revitaslim for better and safe weight loss.

Then, why not consult a trained professional who knows what they're talking about?

Why would you spend a small fortune without first consulting a physician? Prepare a list of questions you want to ask, beforehand. If you are not completely satisfied or you do not understand your doctor's explanations, request a referral to speak with a specialist or seek a second opinion. Build a consensus. Whether you understand or don't, any physician can explain why you need to make changes in your life when you can't lose weight. Firstly, you need to make "adjustments" to the way you live and, consistently, execute sound health fundamentals in order to strengthen and rehabilitate vital systems in your body that have fallen into disrepair...and, that doesn't require any "fortune", at all.

Hi and thanks so much for your posting. Look at my posting about Phenocal on the WebMD Diet Community as i answer this question for another member. Bottom line: SAVE your money. It's another weight loss scam. Revitaslim is another scam purporting to be a weight loss supplement using green tea extract, ginseng, acai berry and chromate. There is also no full ingredient listing which should always worry you. That's why they write "proprietary blend" which is code for we made up the dosing and the ingredients and we're not sharing it with you. There are no evidence based science studies to support any of the claims. Again, the bottom line is SAVE your money.

The best way to do well with weight management is to find a great gym and trainer (see FitConnect.com) and a registered dietitian (look for the RD as anyone can call themselves an expert) and then you have an A team behind you. You don't need lots of fancy testing. The basics work! Look at national weight control registry.com and see how thousands of people have been successful by keeping it basic and simple to execute.

Let us know how you're doing. We're here to support you!

Question re plateaus. I am a 62 year-old male, 5'11", 224 lbs., 40" waist, BMI = 31.2, moderately active (bike 10 mi. 3x week). Have been on 2000/day cal. diet for 2 wks. and have kept to it religiously (but for this past weekend, oops, when I hit 3,000 at family reunion). Feel a bit fitter - pants seem about 1/2" looser - and daily BP is down from avg.155/94 to 138/85, but have not lost 1 single ounce. I weigh-in every other day on same scale. How can that be? What gives?

Muscle weighs more than fat. You are getting fitter with all that biking and I'd bet dollars to donuts you are losing INCHES off of your body.
Drop your caloric intake to between 1700-1900 three times a week and see if it helps. On the days you exercise make sure you eat to fulfill your caloric needs.

hope this helps some
