    Today my mini-goal is to go to a yoga class. It's easier said than done but I'm going to try and get a friend to pick up my daughter from school so I can make an after-work class!

    My mini goal might seem strange to some but not to people with agoraphobia. I live in the center of town on the main street, my goal is to walk across the street at least once a day every day.

    Hi thats not strange to me walking across the street
    I had agraphobia at one time too my goals started with standing with the front door open for 5 minutes when I could do that comfy I stepped out side and stood there for a few minutes. and so on now I can walk around my neighborhood approx 3 miles a day it didn;t happen over night thats for sure but it can happen ..
    we can retrain our bodys and our minds,,

    Hi Haylen,

    My mini-goal for March is to keep eating low fat as my cholesterol was up. I plan to have it back down when I have it checked again in 4 months. Also, to keep to my regular exercise which is walking 30 mins. a day.

    Good for you!! I am extremely claustrophobic so have been working at going into elevators more often. I've gone from hiding my face under my husbands arm literally crying to pushing the button and having a conversation with him. OK I still hold my breath a little waiting for the door to open and jump out but he said I have really come a long way. So I guess its one tiny step each day and they add up. Don't get upset if you take a misstep..just keep on keeping on.I think its a matter of our minds getting use to it. You can do it!!!
