Rapid Weight Gain

SlvrJeep posted:
Hello,

Recently I have been gaining a fairly significant amount of weight in only a few days. I have been eating right and work out 5 times a week at least. Also on top of the rapid weight gain, I get bad headaches and feel like throwing up consistently every night.

Does anyone have any ideas on what's going on?

I'm not pregnant.

Since it's been getting warmer outside , I'm gonna ask the obvious. Have you been drinking more of things like gatorade or high sodium carbonated pop? A rapid weight gain over a few days sounds like water retention to me.
For at least the next week do this, drink nothing but water, and don't wait till you are thirsty to drink it. Your body needs at least 64 oz of water a day, but more is better especially in warmer weather. This is my best guess though....
Otherwise, maybe a food allergy?? Have you consulted a physician lately for a checkup?

I don't think it's a food allergy because I'm not eating out of the normal that would cause the issues going on. I am in the process of consulting a physician. Thanks for the advice.
