Hey everyone! I am just starting off my journey post op. I am going into week two. Had my surgery last week on the 14th. I have had no trouble with no complications. This kind of worries me. I am so scared that I will stretch my tummy. I still have cravings, but I have trouble even getting everything in I need. I am on week two of the diet where I get full liquids. Can wait to eat some chicken. It is funny because my taste and smell has changed. It is weird. I had trouble the first week getting all my protein in. I know I didn't get close to what I was supposed to get. Felt ok though. I had one or two days where I was weak and tired knowing I did not have all the nutrients I need. This week got to add yogurt. The greek yogurt seems to be doing well with the protein. I could not drink the protein shots and drinks. The smell alone made me sick. I tried to add water, freeze it, and etc, but I could not drink them. The cream soups are real good. Get to go to pureed food next week. I don't know if this has anything to do with the surgery or not, but after the surgery I got this pain at the bottom on my neck between my shoulders that is a burning sensations and is consistent. It has gotten worse and I can't seem to get rid of it. Never had this pain before and started right after surgery. Has anyone experienced this? Let me know what ya'll are experiencing.

Be sure to keep in close contact with your surgeon/doctor during this time. Are you working with a nutritionist? I would run everything you're eating by them to make sure you are on track with the food you need to stay healthy.

Are you able to do any activity like walking or other exercise?

Congrats on starting this journey to a healthier life! You deserve it!
