Hi,
My little 13-year-old sister was diagnosed with Lupus last July. It was a shock, but she's okay.
Anyways, because of Cortezone (specifically,Gupisone) she's gained a lot of weight. And the thing is, she's been taking it in huge doses (like 50mg or 60g) as prescribed by the doctors of course, but i feel like, because of her weight, her self-esteem is low.
if anyone can suggest healthy food choices for her she would ,and i would, appreciated a lot. i also read somewhere that there are foodstuffs that Lupus patients have a negative reaction from, so any info on that would be very deeply appreciated.
Thank you for reading my post (3

You might direct your sister to the Lupus Health Center: for more information about living with an managing Lupus. I have 2 daughters - your concern and reaching out is so great to see. Yeah for sisters
